Brenda Ralph Lewis is a freelance writer, specializing in military history and civilizations.  Her previous books include Battles of the Bible, Churchill:  An Illustrated History, Women at War, The Hitler Youth:  The Hitlerjugend in Peace and War and histories of the Vikings, the Crusades and Ancient Rome.  Brenda lives in Chesham, England.

Rupert Matthews is a historian and published writer.  He has written numerous magazine articles and newspaper columns, and has also presented his own show on the cable TV.  Rupert's books include The Battle of Thermopylae, Hitler, Military Commander and Alexander the Great at the Battle of the Granicus.  He lives in England with his wife and daughter.
